We have set up stage lighting rig and curtain system for North Kellyville Public School, a co-ed day school in NSW, Sydney. It is a recently opened schools for students from KG through VI.
A lighting rig is a structure that holds the lights for a stage. PHANTOS P18X12HEX lights have been used for illuminating the stage of North Kellyville Public School. These lights feature 38° wide angle lens for best colour mixing and offer a soft edge projection instead of a spot. Schools normally do not have high ceiling and therefore these wash lights are suitable for short throw distances. Lighting control systems have also been installed which serve to provide the right amount of light where and when it is needed. DMX distributor has been setup which has a booster that ensures the stage coordinator gets a full strong signal to the fixture to maintain full control at all time with no DMX break down.
Curtain tracks are the hardware components upon which the curtains are hung and moved. We have installed a new GRT40II curved motorized stage curtain track system for the front curtains of the stage. These tracks are fixed to the rigging system that has the capacity to hold heavy weight of the fabric and allow smooth transitioning of curtain hooks. The tracks help in increasing the life of the curtain fabric by putting less stress and stretch when the curtains open and close. As there is no wall around the stage, the tracks are designed to be ceiling-mounted. The tracks can be controlled by hand-held remote controls and site tab which is manually operated.
If your school is looking to install a curtain track system or lighting system, please do give us an opportunity to design and build a fully customized system which is best suited to your requirements.
